Tara MacSween

Tara MacSween comes to the Bend Camerata as a long time member of the Bend community. She graduated in 2001 from the University of Oregon with a degree in Music Education and 2004 with a Master of Music. Tara has shared her passion for choral music in both the Sisters and Bend La Pine schools and is currently teaching at Sky View Middle School.

In her time with the Sisters School Foundation, Tara and her students collaborated with artists such as Vince Gill, Keb’ Mo’, and Lyle Lovett. She has been a feature soloist for both the University of Oregon’s University Singers and Chamber Ensemble.

​Her feature solo performances include works by Bach, Vaughn Williams, and Pergolesi. In her spare time she enjoys playing in her church’s worship band. She currently lives in Bend with her husband Luke and their two sons.
